Role Overview:

The Network Security Administrator is responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining an organizations security infrastructure. This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through robust security policies, tools, and best practices. The Senior Network Administrator works closely with IT and security teams to monitor threats, enforce security controls, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain security tools such as Next generation
• Firewalls/UTM/IDS-IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
• Monitor network traffic and security logs for potential threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities.
• Respond to security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and provide remediation recommendations.
• Provide security awareness training to employees and enforce best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with IT teams to secure cloud infrastructure and on- premise environments.
• Maintain documentation for security policies, configurations, and incident response reports.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certifications such as CEH, or Security+ are preferred
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security administration, or network security.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to respond to security incidents effectively.
