Section Incharge - Raw Material Handling System

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage Raw Material Handling Systems for Limestone, Coke, Coal, and Salt

Plan and monitor daily activities including raw material receipt, stacking, feeding, and reclaiming

Ensure smooth operation of conveying systems (belt conveyors, feeders, crushers, etc.) with minimal downtime

Execute and coordinate preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities

Coordinate effectively with Production, Stores, Safety, and Maintenance departments to ensure uninterrupted operations

Implement and ensure compliance with SOPs, safety guidelines, and permit-to-work systems

Maintain proper documentation including checklists, maintenance logs, audit records, and operational reports

Manage manpower including shift planning, contractor supervision, and skill development initiatives

Plan and execute CAPEX jobs in coordination with relevant departments

Perform job planning, scheduling, and follow-up using SAP PM Module

Ensure timely material planning, indenting, and closure of maintenance tasks

Support system improvements, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with IMS documentation, audits, and record management systems

Carry out physical verification of materials as per company procedures

Operate and monitor Bag Filter systems, ensuring effective dust collection and emission control

Coordinate maintenance and performance monitoring of bag filters, including DP checks and bag replacement

Operate and maintain DFDS (Dry Fog Dust Suppression System) to ensure effective dust control and environmental

compliance

Required Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of RMHS equipment, including:

Belt Conveyors

Apron Feeders / Vibrating Feeders

Crushers & Screens

Stacker & Reclaimers (Portal & BWSR)

Truck Tippler / Truck Unloading Systems

DFDS (Dry Fog Dust Suppression System)

Bag Filters / Dust Collection Systems

Belt Weighers

Working knowledge of SAP PM Module for maintenance planning, scheduling, and reporting

Basic understanding of PLC/SCADA systems related to RMHS operations

Experience in planner functions, including job planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
