Section Head - West Zone Marketing

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and drive marketing and sales activities across the West Zone for Alloy/Special Steel products.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume and profitability targets.
• Manage key customers, distributors and channel partners across the region.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base in strategic segments.
• Build strong relationships with OEMs, engineering industries and other key customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Production, Quality, Technical and Supply Chain to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Lead negotiations, commercial discussions and closure of strategic business opportunities.
• Prepare regional sales forecasts, business plans and periodic performance reports.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 15 years of overall experience, with 10+ years of relevant experience in Alloy/Special Steel Marketing/Sales.
• Strong knowledge of the Alloy Steel/Special Steel industry, market dynamics and customer segments.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing new business.
• Excellent customer management, negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic business development capability.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the West Zone.
