Role

To plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for thermal power plant equipment, ensuring reliability, optimized resource utilization, and compliance with safety and statutory standards.

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and update annual/monthly maintenance schedules for Boiler, Turbine, Electrical, C&I, and BOP systems.
• Plan manpower, spares, tools, and contractor requirements for maintenance jobs.
• Manage work orders and job plans through SAP PM.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and stores for smooth execution of shutdowns/outages.
• Monitor equipment, analyze failures, and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Maintain documentation, statutory compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering with 5-10 years of Thermal Power Plant experience with 2 years planning and scheduling
