Job Summary
Orchids The International School is seeking a passionate and qualified Secondary Hindi Teacher to deliver engaging and effective Hindi language instruction to students in Grades 6th - 10th. The ideal candidate should foster a positive learning environment, promote language proficiency, and support students' overall academic development.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver Hindi lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
• Teach grammar, literature, writing, reading, speaking, and comprehension skills.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning materials.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, class tests, and examinations.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents during PTMs.
• Maintain student records, attendance, and academic documentation.
• Create an interactive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.
• Participate in school events, cultural activities, faculty meetings, and professional development programs.
• Ensure discipline and maintain classroom management in accordance with school policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching-learning process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hindi or a related subject.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
• Master's degree in Hindi is preferred.
• Strong command of spoken and written Hindi and English.

Experience

• 2- 5 years of teaching experience in secondary classes (Grades 6th-10th).
• Experience in CBSE/ICSE curriculum is preferred.
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills may also be considered.
