Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and qualified Secondary Biology Teacher to teach Biology and related Science concepts to students in Grades 6–10. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and the ability to make complex scientific concepts easy to understand.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Teach topics such as cell biology, human physiology, genetics, ecology, and plant and animal biology.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
• Conduct practical activities, demonstrations, and experiments wherever applicable.
• Assess students' academic performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage scientific thinking and curiosity.
• Identify students' learning gaps and provide additional academic support.
• Maintain academic records, lesson plans, and student progress reports.
• Collaborate with coordinators and colleagues to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development sessions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Zoology, Botany, Life Sciences, or a relevant subject.
• B.Ed. is preferred or required as per the school's recruitment criteria.
• Strong understanding of Biology concepts and subject-specific teaching methodologies.

Experience

• Relevant teaching experience at the secondary level is preferred.
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may be considered based on the school's requirements.
