- Assist the chief engineer in navigating and operating the ship.
- Maintain and repair engine equipment and machinery.
- Monitor and control the ship's speed, direction, and position.
- Participate in cargo operations and deck maintenance.
- Collaborate with other crew members to ensure safe and efficient voyage.
- Implement safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an engineer on a merchant ship.
- Strong knowledge of ship navigation, operation, and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
- Any graduate degree from a recognized institution.
