Seating System Development,Catia,CAD, DFMEA, GD&T,Automotive Seating

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design complete seats for automotive components using CATIA software.
• Conduct DFA (Design for Assembly) and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis to optimize seat design for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seating systems meet customer requirements and industry standards.
• Develop prototypes and test fixtures to validate seat designs.

Job Requirements :

• 2-8 years of experience in industrial equipment/machinery industry, preferably in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CATIA software for designing complex mechanical parts such as seats.
• Strong understanding of dfa/dfmea principles and ability to apply them effectively during product development stages.
• Experience working on projects involving foam materials or other soft goods.
