Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Search Engine Optimization (SEO) internship role based at Poornima University in Jaipur. The intern will assist in optimizing university web pages for search engines through on-page SEO activities, including updating meta tags, headings, and content structure. Day-to-day tasks include conducting keyword research, supporting SEO audits to identify opportunities for improvement, and assisting with link-building initiatives to enhance online visibility. The role also involves monitoring website performance using web analytics tools, preparing basic reports, and collaborating with marketing and web teams to implement SEO recommendations. The intern will gain hands-on experience in SEO best practices, contribute to the university's digital presence, and develop practical skills in a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO to optimize website content and structure for relevant search queries.
• Candidates should possess skills in SEO Audits to analyze site performance, identify technical and content issues, and suggest improvements.
• Candidates should possess skills in Link Building to support outreach, create quality backlinks, and improve domain authority.
• Candidates should possess skills in Web Analytics to track key metrics, interpret data, and report on SEO performance.
• Basic understanding of search engine algorithms, HTML fundamentals, and content management systems is beneficial.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to learn new tools and concepts quickly.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with academic and marketing teams.
• Enrollment in or completion of a relevant program (such as Computer Science, IT, Management, or Digital Marketing) is preferred but not mandatory.
