About the Role

We are looking for an SEO professional to join our team and work closely with the SEO Manager to ensure the smooth implementation of SEO strategies and contribute valuable insights to improve organic search performance.

The role involves hands-on execution of on-page and off-page SEO activities, coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders, competitor and link analysis, campaign planning, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

On-Page SEO

• Execute day-to-day SEO activities as per the planned SEO strategy.
• Coordinate with website/development teams to implement SEO recommendations.
• Review and monitor SEO implementations completed by the website team.
• Maintain trackers for SEO updates and activities.
• Create task plans and timelines for SEO execution.
• Maintain and record Minutes of Meetings (MoMs) with internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan, strategize, and track promotional campaigns from an SEO perspective.
• Monitor SEO performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Off-Page SEO

• Conduct backlink and link profile analysis for competitors.
• Maintain link-building trackers, including anchor text details.
• Identify and shortlist relevant websites for link-building opportunities.
• Reach out to and follow up with webmasters and website authors.
• Negotiate and close link-building opportunities with webmasters/authors.
• Build and maintain a database of webmaster contacts across different niche markets.
• Monitor the quality and relevance of acquired backlinks.

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in client meetings along with the SEO Manager.
• Contribute to the creation of SEO pitch decks and presentations.
• Support internal SEO training and knowledge-sharing initiatives as required.
• Guide junior executives and ensure their work meets Schbang's quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of SEO activities.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new tools, platforms, and software.
• Strong understanding of SEO concepts and execution.
• Experience working with at least one CMS.
• Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics.
• Ability to analyze SEO performance and derive actionable insights.
