Search Assistant

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Search Assistant to join our Marketing & Data Insights team. Working closely with and supporting the Growth Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in executing search marketing operations, conducting rigorous platform Quality Assurance (QA), performing online research, and maintaining accuracy across our content discovery and search ecosystem.

Preferred candidate profile

• Support the Growth Marketing Manager in planning, executing, and tracking search marketing initiatives across streaming platforms.
• Perform routine and thorough Quality Assurance (QA) on search results, platform UI, content indexing, and metadata tagging across apps.
• Manage daily MS Excel-driven data reporting tasks, utilizing functions like VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, and Pivot Tables to organize operational data.
• Conduct deep online research to benchmark search algorithms, identify keyword trends, and analyze competitor discovery strategies.
• Assist in creating structured decks and presentations in MS PowerPoint to communicate insights and search QA findings to stakeholders.
• Identify, log, and track resolution for search indexing errors or platform UI inconsistencies

Desired Candidate Profile

Must-have Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree / Graduate in any discipline.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in search operations, growth support, or data management.
• High Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail, diligence, and logical thinking.
• Platform UI & Search Knowledge: Basic understanding of search algorithms, content indexing, and streaming platform user interfaces.
• Excel & Analytics Skills: Proficient in managing MS Excel tasks, including VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, data formatting, and Pivot Table creation.
• Presentation & Research Skills: Adept at online research and basic knowledge of MS PowerPoint for structured reporting.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Prior hands-on experience in platform Quality Assurance (QA) or content metadata management.
