    About the Role

GrowthEd is looking for a well-connected Senior Sales Development Representative to develop school partnerships and drive institutional sales across key markets. This is a senior, relationship-driven, field-intensive role requiring continuous travel across the assigned territory.

The role requires an established professional with strong relationships in the K-12 education industry, particularly with school owners, trustees, principals, directors, and senior management. The candidate will be responsible for generating qualified school opportunities, scheduling meetings for product demonstration, managing post-demo follow-ups, negotiating commercials, and taking ownership of closures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Leverage, build and maintain strong relationships with school owners, trustees, principals, directors, and senior decision-makers, to identify and engage prospective schools.
    • Generate qualified school opportunities and schedule product demonstration meetings.
    • Lead follow-up discussions after Business Development Representative (BDR)-led product demonstrations, and coordinate with the BDR to ensure smooth handover of school requirements, priorities, and meeting context.
    • Participate in important school meetings, presentations, and discussions, and understand school feedback, objections, decision-making processes, and purchase timelines.
    • Own price discussions, commercial negotiations, and contract finalisation with schools.
    • Drive opportunities through the complete sales cycle, from initial engagement and meeting coordination to closure and onboarding handover.
    • Maintain a strong and updated pipeline of prospective and active school opportunities, ensuring accurate documentation of meetings, discussions, proposals, negotiations, commitments, and next steps.
    • Coordinate with the BDR, product, implementation, finance, and leadership teams to resolve school requirements and close opportunities.
    • Share market intelligence, competitor insights, customer feedback, and emerging opportunities with the leadership team.
    • Travel extensively and continuously across the assigned territory to build relationships and close school partnerships.

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    • 15+ years of experience in sales, business development or partnerships with schools.
    • Strong existing connections with school owners, trustees, principals, directors, and K-12 education groups.
    • Proven experience in B2B, institutional, or EdTech sales, and comfort in managing long sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders.
    • Strong commercial understanding with the ability to discuss pricing and value confidently, and demonstrated success in managing negotiations and closing high-value deals.
    • Strong understanding of the school education ecosystem and decision-making processes.
    • Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
    • Strong local knowledge and professional network in at least one of the target markets, and comfort with continuous field travel across the assigned regions.

    Preferred Locations
