We are seeking Automation Test Engineer/SDET within 2-5 years of experience and a strong background in automation testing and programming. Experience with Selenium, Java/Python scripting, and familiarity with Playwright tool with JavaScript are highly desirable. Additionally, expertise in framework development is good to have. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automation test strategies, plans, and test cases for software applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java/Python scripting languages.
- Utilize Playwright tool with JavaScript for test automation where applicable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test automation opportunities and enhance testing efficiency.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of web applications.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks.
- Analyze test results and report defects to the development team with detailed information.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation and share knowledge within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in automation testing and test case development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium for web automation testing.
- Familiarity with Playwright tool and JavaScript for automation testing is a plus.
- Experience in framework development for test automation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in testing web applications and SaaS products is preferred.
