About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Framework Development

• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing
• Build automation using Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Work with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
• Develop API automation using RestAssured, Postman, or Karate
• Implement performance testing using JMeter, Gatling, or Locust
• Collaborate early in the SDLC (Shift-Left testing)

Quality Engineering

• Ensure strong coverage across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Promote TDD/BDD methodologies
• Improve test data management and stability
• Conduct automation code reviews

CI/CD & DevOps Integration

• Integrate automation within Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes environments
• Develop execution dashboards and reporting

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in test automation and quality engineering
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or Appium
• Experience testing REST APIs and microservices
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure

Preferred:

• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
• Familiarity with mocking frameworks (WireMock, Mountebank)
• Knowledge of contract testing (Pact or similar tools)
