Mandatory Skills:

API Automation (REST Assured), Automation Framework Creation & Development, Basic Build + Deployment & CI/CD Knowledge, Test Case Creation and Execution, Test Design Practices (TDD), Core Java, Selenium, MS SQL

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, robust, and maintainable automation frameworks supporting UI, API, and integration testing across multiple applications.
• Define and implement automation strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring maximum coverage and efficiency.
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines enabling continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
• Analyze system architecture and ensure applications are designed for testability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Review automation code and frameworks ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.
• Mentor and guide team members in automation tools, frameworks, and engineering best practices improving team capability.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to align quality engineering practices with business objectives.

Job summary

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG/JUnit, with proven experience building and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks.
• Strong experience in API automation/testing using Rest Assured, Postman, or equivalent tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Git, and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, with experience integrating automated tests into continuous delivery pipelines.
• Hands-on exposure to GenAI-assisted Quality Engineering, leveraging tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar LLM-based solutions for test case generation, automation script creation, code analysis, test maintenance, and defect/root-cause analysis.
• Ability to apply GenAI to accelerate and improve QE automation, including generating/refactoring test scripts, identifying test coverage gaps, and improving automation productivity.
