Sdet Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to validate backend services and APIs.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of backend systems.
• Analyze application logs, troubleshoot issues, and support root cause analysis.
• Validate data integrity using SQL queries and database validation techniques.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality improvements across the SDLC.
• Monitor application health and support operational activities in lower and production-like environments.
• Identify automation opportunities and continuously improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
• Work closely with the Atlas development team to understand technical requirements and support releases.

Required Skills Technical Skills

• Strong programming experience in Java.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Strong knowledge of backend applications, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and web services.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Rest Assured, TestNG/JUnit, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts(Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience in API testing and backend validation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and build tools such as Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.

Operational & Troubleshooting Skills

• Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to analyze application logs and production issues.
• Understanding of deployment, release management, and operational support processes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
