Role & responsibilities

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in REST/SOAP API automation, mobile testing using Appium, and performance testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:                                                        
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for REST/SOAP APIs and mobile applications.                                                        
Execute performance testing to ensure application scalability and reliability.                                 Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and identify testing requirement. Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution.                  Analyze test results, report defects, and track them to closure.                                                        Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.                                                        

Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices.                                                        

Mandatory Skills:
Strong experience in REST/SOAP API automation.                                                        
Proficiency in mobile automation testing using Appium.                                                        
Solid understanding of performance testing tools and methodologies.                                          Experience with SDET practices and principles.          

Preferred Skills:
 Familiarity with CI/CD tools and frameworks.                                                        
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.                                             Experience with test management tools.
