SDET 1

We're looking for an SDET-1 to build and maintain automation that improves coverage and product quality across API/backend and/or mobile app flows.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs and mobile applications using Python, Pytest, and/or Java.
• Automate critical user and feature workflows, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain test reporting using Allure, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, developers, and QA teams to define test scenarios, resolve defects, and ensure release readiness.
• Implement best practices for test data management, test tagging, retries, mocking, stubs, and maintaining stable test environments.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of hands-on test automation in one or both:
• API/backend: automated REST API tests (auth, request/response validation, multi-step flows) using Python or Java, not manual Postman-only.
• Mobile app: Android and/or iOS UI automation for real user flows (native frameworks or Appium)
• Strong in Python (Pytest) or Java (TestNG/JUnit).
• Good understanding of REST APIs and/or mobile test fundamentals (locators, waits, device/OS basics)
• Experience with Git; preferably Jenkins/Allure and Postman (API) or device/cloud execution (mobile)
• Familiarity with retries, tagging, test data strategy, and flake-aware design.
• Bonus: both API + app automation, CI/CD, parallel runs, or cloud device farms.
