SDE 2 - Node.js

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:

Application Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js .
• Build responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
• Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.

API and System Integration:

• Design and implement REST APIs for internal and external applications.
• Build and maintain middleware solutions for seamless integration between systems.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams to ensure reliable system integrations.

Architecture and Collaboration:

• Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to application architecture.
• Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Review code and mentor team members by promoting engineering best practices.

Quality and Performance:

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Optimise applications for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Ensure application security, maintainability, and high availability.

Agile and Continuous Improvement:

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools, technologies, and development practices to improve engineering efficiency.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.
