Responsibilities:

• AI-Assisted Development: Use AI tools (Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT/Claude) to quickly write clean Python code, build API endpoints, and implement user-facing features.
• Automated Testing: Leverage AI tooling to generate robust unit and integration tests, ensuring high test coverage before code review.
• Bug Fixing and Debugging: Use AI-assisted troubleshooting to diagnose issues, trace logs, and resolve bugs across the application.
• Continuous Learning: Rapidly ramp up on internal codebases and third-party libraries by using LLMs as an interactive mentor and documentation assistant.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and actively incorporate code review feedback to refine AI-generated solutions.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of backend experience with any programming language (or relevant projects/internships showing high proficiency).
• AI-First Workflow: Demonstrated habit of using modern AI tools to code faster and learn new paradigms effectively.
• Core CS Fundamentals: Solid understanding of data structures, OOP concepts, algorithms, and Git.
• Databases and APIs: Basic working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and building REST APIs.
• Critical Eye: Ability to understand every line of AI-suggested code before committing to it, rather than blindly accepting completions.
• Education and Mindset: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent); proactive problem-solver eager to learn and ship quickly.
