SDE 1 - Mobile

We are looking for an SDE 1 - Mobile Developer to build and scale our React Native application used by field teams for offline-first operations. You'll work on maps, geolocation, offline sync, camera/document capture, notifications, and real-time updates.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain mobile features using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
• Develop offline-first workflows, local storage, background sync, and conflict handling.
• Implement maps, geolocation, geofencing, and location tracking using Mapbox.
• Integrate camera, document handling, push notifications, and other device capabilities.
• Integrate REST APIs and WebSockets with backend services.
• Work with Zustand and React Navigation.
• Debug Android/iOS platform issues and optimize app performance.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Support Sentry monitoring, CI/CD, EAS Build/Update, and app releases.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of React Native mobile development experience.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Expo and Expo modules.
• Experience with Zustand/Redux and React Navigation.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, Axios, async data, and offline-first architecture.
• Experience with MMKV, AsyncStorage, SQLite, or similar local storage.
• Good knowledge of Git and collaborative development.
• Basic understanding of Android/iOS build processes.

Good to Have:

• Native Kotlin/Java or Swift/Objective-C experience.
• Experience with Mapbox/Google Maps and Firebase.
• Exposure to Sentry, WebSockets, EAS Update/CodePush, Jest, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Play Store/App Store releases.
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
