This role demands a strategic thinker who can drive procurement excellence by optimizing contractual value, enhancing supplier collaboration, and delivering measurable outcomes across both direct and indirect categories.

- Conduct comprehensive contract compliance and leakage reviews to identify overpayments, scope deviations, and non-performance, and recommend corrective actions to recover value.
- Manage contract discovery and digitization initiatives, including scanning, OCR processing, metadata tagging, and migration of legacy contracts into centralized repositories.
- Establish and maintain a centralized digital contract repository with version control, access permissions, and audit trails to ensure transparency and traceability.
- Implement and manage CLM platforms (e.g., Icertis, Ariba, Coupa) to automate contract creation, approval workflows, and renewal alerts, reducing cycle time and manual errors.
- Extract and analyze contract data using analytics tools to generate insights on risk exposure, renewal cycles, and supplier performance metrics.
- Integrate contract data with ERP and procurement systems to enable real-time visibility, reporting, and compliance tracking across the organization.
- Develop and maintain clause libraries and standardized templates to streamline contract drafting and ensure consistency across business units.
- Apply AI/ML tools for contract analytics, anomaly detection, and predictive risk scoring to proactively manage contractual obligations and risks.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring traceability, documentation, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Train stakeholders on contract management tools, processes, and negotiation best practices to enhance contract literacy and adoption across teams.
Supplier Management
- Design and execute supplier management transformation roadmaps by benchmarking industry best practices, assessing current maturity, and defining future-state operating models.
- Oversee supplier onboarding, qualification, and segmentation processes based on risk, spend, criticality, and strategic alignment to ensure optimal supplier portfolio management.
- Manage the end-to-end supplier lifecycle including performance reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive supplier excellence.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with strategic suppliers to evaluate KPIs, discuss performance gaps, and identify opportunities for innovation and collaboration.
- Ensure supplier compliance with ESG, diversity, and regulatory requirements by embedding compliance checks and sustainability metrics into supplier evaluation frameworks.
- Deploy supplier management platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, GEP SMART, Jaggaer) to enable centralized performance tracking, collaboration, and risk monitoring.
- Develop supplier scorecards and dashboards using analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau to visualize performance trends and support data-driven decision-making.
- Integrate supplier data across ERP, CLM, and P2P systems to create a unified view of supplier performance, compliance, and risk exposure.
- Use third-party risk intelligence tools (e.g., Risk methods, Dun Bradstreet) to continuously monitor supplier financial health, geopolitical risks, and operational disruptions.
- Automate supplier onboarding, document collection, and performance feedback loops to reduce administrative burden and improve supplier experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier master data and enforce data governance policies to ensure consistency and reliability across procurement systems.
- Support supplier innovation programs and joint value creation initiatives through structured engagement models, co-development workshops, and innovation scorecards.
