Job Summary

The Delivery Coordinator supports a portfolio of Product, Engineering and Data teams by keeping day-to-day delivery mechanics organized, current and visible. The role enables teams and their leaders to own delivery while ensuring commitments, dependencies, risks, actions and delivery information are actively maintained and followed through.

They are responsible for ensuring the appropriate delivery cadence is established and operating effectively, including meeting coordination, tracking and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain delivery tracking and Jira hygiene across assigned teams, ensuring plans, commitments, milestones and status are current and visible.
• Coordinate team delivery cadences including planning, refinement, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives. Ensure meetings are scheduled with the right participants, purpose and cadence; maintain supporting information and follow up on resulting actions.
• Facilitate ceremonies selectively where needed, while enabling teams to increasingly own and run their own ceremonies.
• Track risks, blockers, dependencies, decisions and actions; actively follow up with owners and ensure items are driven to closure or escalated when necessary.
• Capture and maintain cross-team dependencies, ensuring owners, timing and status are clear; partner with Delivery Leads where broader coordination or resolution is required.
• Support PI readiness and execution, including planning preparation, commitment tracking, checkpoints, system demos/readouts and other delivery milestones.
• Produce and maintain consistent delivery metrics, reporting and status information using agreed standards.
• Support SDLC and delivery checkpoints by ensuring required information, actions and approvals are visible and progressing.
• Surface emerging delivery or team-effectiveness issues early to Delivery Management and the appropriate Product, Engineering or Data leaders.
• Support agreed improvement actions and ensure progress remains visible following delivery-health interventions.
• Work with other Delivery Coordinators to provide flexible coverage as priorities and team needs change.

Minimum Qualifications

Must Have

• 5 to 10 yrs of Experience working in an Agile software development or delivery environment, supporting Product, Engineering, or Data teams.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar project and delivery tracking tools, including maintaining delivery status, tasks, milestones, and action items.
• Understanding of Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Experience in tracking risks, blockers, dependencies, and action items, including follow-up, escalation, and closure.
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams simultaneously, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate delivery information.
• Experience preparing and maintaining delivery status reports and metrics for stakeholders and leadership.
• Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to proactively identify delivery gaps and issues without waiting for direction.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and distributed teams.
• Ability to work independently while ensuring accountability, transparency, and timely follow-through.
