Scrum Master

Role & responsibilities:

Primary objective: Improve delivery flow, team effectiveness and transparency across DocTutorials product and AI engineering teams.

1. Agile Team Facilitation

• Facilitate planning, daily coordination, reviews, retrospectives and backlog-refinement readiness.
• Coach teams on ownership, realistic commitments, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Protect teams from avoidable disruption while ensuring business priorities remain visible.
• Help Product Owners and managers maintain clear goals, dependencies and decisions.

2. Delivery Flow and Governance

• Track sprint predictability, flow, blockers, dependency ageing, carryover and improvement actions.
• Escalate material risks early with impact, owner and recovery action.
• Use metrics to improve the system rather than rank individuals.
• Coordinate cross-team delivery while keeping accountability with the appropriate owners.

3. AI Project Facilitation

• Understand the discovery, data, experimentation, evaluation and production stages of AI delivery.
• Help teams plan AI work with uncertainty, learning milestones and measurable exit criteria.
• Ensure AI risks involving data, evaluation, security, cost and human validation are visible.
• Use approved AI tools for meeting synthesis, risk analysis and reporting with verification.
