Scrum Master

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery for software development teams. The candidate will be responsible for driving Scrum practices, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring predictable sprint delivery. The role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Architects, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to maintain alignment on priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments.

The ideal candidate should have strong facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coach teams on Agile principles, improve team performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Experience working with distributed teams and software engineering projects is preferred.

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Drive sprint execution and ensure alignment with sprint goals and delivery commitments.
• Track sprint progress, identify deviations, and improve delivery predictability.
• Proactively identify and resolve blockers, risks, and cross-team dependencies.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to ensure backlog readiness and effective sprint planning.
• Monitor Agile metrics such as sprint velocity, predictability, burndown, and work carryover.
• Coach team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, accountability, and collaboration.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and track retrospective action items.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Maintain accurate sprint boards, user stories, and delivery status in Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Support PI planning, release planning, and coordination across multiple teams.
• Promote effective collaboration between developers, testers, Architects, and Product Owners.
• Ensure realistic sprint commitments based on team capacity and priorities.
• Identify recurring delivery challenges and drive corrective actions to improve team performance.
• Promote adherence to Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, and agreed quality standards.
