Job Description (Job Summary/Roles & Responsibilities)

We are seeking an experienced Squad Lead to drive end-to-end delivery for one or more products while leading high-performing Agile squads. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of Agile leadership, delivery management, stakeholder engagement, and technical understanding across software engineering, architecture, DevOps, quality engineering, and security.

This role requires a leader who can foster collaboration, remove impediments, drive continuous improvement, and enable teams to deliver business value efficiently. The Squad Lead will also champion the adoption of AI-powered practices and tools to improve productivity, quality, and consistency across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software delivery from requirements through production deployment.
• Manage and support 1-2 Agile squads comprising 5-9 engineers and cross-functional contributors.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Identify, manage, and remove delivery impediments and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on delivery speed, quality, and efficiency.
• Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and innovation.
• Plan and coordinate product releases across multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery metrics, KPIs, and Agile health indicators are consistently monitored and acted upon.
• Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering Leads, QA, Security, and Business stakeholders to achieve delivery goals.
• Support management of technical debt, modernization initiatives, security requirements, and platform stability.
• Coach and mentor team members and Agile practitioners to improve team maturity and performance.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled tools and practices across planning, development, testing, deployment, and operational support.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams and external partners.
• Contribute to organizational initiatives and cross-functional transformation programs.

Must Have & Desired Skills: 'Technical Skills:

• Experience of a wide range of Technology roles is desirable, ideally with some form of development engineering background
• Rounded and holistic understanding of Agile Methodologies such as CSP, KMP & ICP-ACC Certifications or their equivalent.

Must Have:

• 14-16 years of experience in software delivery, engineering, or Agile leadership roles.
• Proven track record of delivering complex enterprise applications in regulated, multi-product environments.
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean practices.
• Experience leading cross-functional Agile teams and managing distributed teams.
• Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), software architecture, testing, DevOps, security, and operational support.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Data-driven approach to delivery management using Agile and engineering metrics.
• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and organizational change.
• Hands-on experience as Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, Engineering Lead, or similar role.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled software delivery practices and AI-powered development tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

Good to Have
Experience leading teams building or integrating AI/ML solutions into enterprise applications.
Exposure to product management and strategic roadmap planning.
