Role Description The SCM Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehgam, responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations. Day-to-day tasks include planning and monitoring procurement, production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods. The role involves coordinating with vendors, transporters, and internal teams to optimize costs, reduce lead times, and maintain product quality and service levels. The SCM Manager will analyze data, track key performance indicators, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. This position also includes ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements, while leading and developing the supply chain team.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in supply chain planning, inventory management, procurement, and logistics coordination.
- Experience in vendor management, negotiation, and maintaining supplier relationships within a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Ability to use ERP or supply chain software, analyze data, and generate actionable insights for operational improvement.
- Knowledge of production planning, warehouse operations, and distribution processes, preferably in FMCG or food industry.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in Dehgam.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process discipline, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Understanding of quality standards, food safety regulations, and compliance requirements applicable to food production.
