Oracle Fusion SCM - Costing Functional Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion SCM Costing Functional Consultant to design, configure, implement, and support Oracle Fusion Cloud Cost Management solutions. The consultant will partner with finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation, product costing, cost accounting, and financial reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business requirements for inventory valuation, product costing, and cost accounting processes.
Configure Oracle Fusion Cost Management, including cost organizations, cost books, cost profiles, valuation structures, cost elements, and overhead rules.
Configure and support standard costing, actual costing, average costing, and periodic average costing, as applicable.
Set up item cost profiles, cost rollups, cost scenarios, standard cost updates, and inventory valuation processes.
Support accounting for inventory transactions, work orders, manufacturing, procure-to-pay, intercompany transfers, and returns.
Configure cost distributions, subledger accounting integration, and reconciliation between Cost Management, Inventory, Payables, Receivables, and General Ledger.
Collaborate with functional teams on integrations with Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Order Management, and Financials.
Support data conversion, FBDI uploads, ADFdi, REST/SOAP APIs, and reporting requirements.
Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, user guides, and training materials.
Lead SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, go-live, and post-production support activities.
Analyze costing variances, reconciliation issues, and process gaps; recommend functional improvements.
Review and assess Oracle quarterly updates for Cost Management impacts.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cost Management, including:
Cost organizations, cost books, and cost profiles
Valuation structures and valuation units
Cost elements, overheads, and cost rollups
Standard, actual, average, and periodic average costing
Cost accounting distributions and subledger accounting
Inventory valuation and period-close reconciliation
Strong understanding of inventory, procurement, manufacturing, work-order, and supply-chain accounting processes.
Experience integrating Cost Management with Oracle Fusion Financials, particularly General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, and Subledger Accounting.
Experience with FBDI, ADFdi, REST APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud, OTBI, and BI Publisher is preferred.
Strong analytical, documentation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
