Scientist - C or D, Water Treatment

Job Description:

Managing & mentoring the scientist team in R&D for water treatment product development & applications. Responsible for developing innovative products for water treatment applications. Coordinating with the application team in performance establishment activities. Coordinating with business development team in establishing the product performance in field.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

• Managing a team of product development & application.
• Mentoring team on product formulations, optimization & application methodologies.
• Experience in handling a team of 5-7 scientists.
• Planning for project activities- Daily/weekly/monthly/yearly
• Developing customized SOPs and testing parameters.
• Collaborating with business team to run troubleshooting experiments for market products and existing applications.
• Thorough knowledge and experience in handling lab testing equipment and analytical instruments.
• Sound knowledge of water chemistry, applications test methods & formulations, specifically, biobased.
• Good at documenting data & conducting data analysis, preparing project reports, technology writeups, SOPs.
• Aware of regulatory norms & certifications.

Job requirements:

A successful candidate will have:

• Qualification: Ph. D/M. Tech./M. Sc. in in Chemistry/environmental sciences from a reputed institute.
• Experience: 7-10 years, essentially as senior scientist/manager.
• Preferred institutes: IIT, IISC, ICT, CSIR labs
• Experience in Lab to Plant Scale implementation
• Good Communication Skills
• A good teamwork skill in fast paced & challenging environment
• A sincere attitude, leadership qualities & commitment towards job responsibilities
