Job Summary

Role Overview: This role combines hands-on expertise in test automation, scenario modelling and scenario-based validation to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safety-critical software components. The ideal candidate has knowledge of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) at Level 2, 2+, and 3, and ASPICE standards (SWE. 4 to SYS. 5).

Job Title: Software Engineer - ADAS-Scenario Based Testing

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore

Experience: 2 to 4 years

Key Responsibilities

• Create scenarios, maps/tracks in Mathworks Roadrunner
• Create scenario in VTD
• Scenario based SIL Testing
• Use GIT for source control, test asset versioning, and collaboration within multi-developer teams.
• Stay open to adopting AI/ML-based techniques in the future for enhanced test intelligence and automation.
• Encourage a proactive, quality-first mindset and promote technical growth through knowledge sharing and continuous feedback.

Skills

• Bachelor s degree in ECE, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in SWE. 4, SWE. 6, SYS. 5 testing with a strong focus on ADAS- L2, L2+, L3 software systems VV
• Experience in scenario modelling in tools like VTD, IPG Carmaker, Roadrunner
• Proficient in Python
• Testing exposure in ADAS features like Driving, Active Safety, Traffic Sign Visualization/recognition is desirable.
• Good understanding of Vehicle Dynamics
• Experience in scenario-based testing. open Scenario/VTD/IPG CarMaker
• Proven expertise in test automation and verification techniques across various test levels (unit, functional, integration and qualification testing).
• Solid understanding of Functional Safety standards, particularly ISO 26262 and ASPICE process knowledge.
