Job Title: SCADA Engineer (Ignition SCADA)

Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech (Diploma candidates will not be considered)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SCADA Engineer with strong expertise in Ignition SCADA, industrial automation, and MES integration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SCADA development, SQL databases, API integration, and industrial communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Ignition SCADA applications.
• Develop scripts using Python/Jython for automation and reporting.
• Integrate SCADA systems with MES platforms.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interfaces.
• Perform REST API integration and interface development.
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, etc.
• Work closely with automation, MES, and manufacturing teams during project execution and commissioning.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Ignition SCADA.
• Experience in Python/Jython scripting.
• Experience in MES interface integration.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience with REST API development/integration.
• Knowledge of OPC, Modbus, and industrial communication protocols.
• Basic PLC knowledge (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.) is preferred.
