SAS Viya & Business Objects Reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Oversight Provide endtoend technical leadership across SAS Viya pipelines, CAS environments, BO Universes, and reporting workflows.
• Quality Review & Controls — Lead quality checks, code reviews, data validation frameworks, and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Automation & Process Redesign — Identify opportunities to automate BAU reporting, streamline SAS/BO workflows, and redesign legacy processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Migration Support — Drive migration initiatives involving SAS Viya, BO Universes, datasets, and reporting assets; ensure smooth transition with minimal business disruption.
• SAS Development Leadership — Architect and oversee development of SAS Viya jobs, CAS actions, analytical datasets, and automation scripts.
• BO Reporting Strategy — Govern the design and optimization of WebI reports, semantic layers, and regulatory reporting structures.
• BAU & Regulatory Reporting Oversight — Supervise MI preparation, PAR/PBCC/RMCC reporting, reconciliations, and routine reporting cycles with a focus on timeliness and accuracy.
• Team Supervision — Manage daytoday activities of the analyst team, provide mentoring, enforce best practices, and ensure consistent delivery quality.
• Stakeholder Engagement — Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, and technology teams to translate requirements into robust analytics solutions.
• Issue & Risk Management — Lead resolution of complex data issues, performance bottlenecks, and reporting failures across SAS and BO platforms.

Required Skills

• Advanced SAS Viya expertise — CAS administration, pipelines, automation, performance tuning, and model deployment
• Seniorlevel Business Objects skills — Complex Universe design (IDT/UDT), semantic modeling, and enterprise reporting optimization
• Banking analytics experience — Strong background in MI, PAR, PBCC, RMCC, or similar regulatory reporting frameworks
• Data governance & controls — Proven ability to implement validation, reconciliation, and quality control standards
• SQL & data engineering — Expertise in SQL, largescale data handling, and performance optimization
• Leadership & communication — Ability to guide teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate insights clearly
