Role & responsibilities

Must Have

• Design, plan, manage, maintain, and support SAS Grid Infrastructure.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch SAS environments.
• Manage user security, roles, and access controls.
• Perform deployment, maintenance, and administration of SAS platforms.
• Validate environments after OS patching and infrastructure changes.
• Coordinate with SAS Institute for security updates and hotfixes.
• Automate administration activities using Terraform and Ansible.
• Provide technical leadership and promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and capacity.
• Support analytical platforms and integration with reporting tools.
• Participate in 24x7 production support and on-call activities.

Good to Have

• SAS Grid Installation and Migration experience.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of Cognos, Tableau, and MicroStrategy.
• Strong Linux/Unix scripting skills.
• Performance tuning and optimization.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Experience with DevOps and automation frameworks.
