Job Title - SAP TM System Technical Consultant

Experience - 6 - 12 Years

Location - Bangalore / Pune / Hyderabad / Noida

Requirements:-

Key responsibilities

• Own escalated L3 topics from functional support and drive technical root-cause analysis to a documented conclusion.
• Debug complex application, integration and performance issues across SAP TM/PTM and connected components.
• Design, develop, unit test and document ABAP, BOPF and Web Dynpro solutions, including developments used in the SAP Business Client environment.
• Assess change requests, produce technical solution designs, estimate effort, identify dependencies and support implementation planning.
• Support production-critical incidents with disciplined technical analysis, risk-aware correction and post-resolution documentation.
• Collaborate with SAP, infrastructure, integration teams and other service providers when resolution crosses ownership boundaries.
• Support code quality, transport discipline, technical testing, performance analysis and knowledge transfer to the support organisation.

Core knowledge requirements

• Advanced ABAP development and debugging, with practical experience in object-oriented ABAP.
• Strong BOPF development and troubleshooting capability in SAP TM scenarios.
• Web Dynpro and SAP Business Client development/support experience.
• Technical knowledge of SAP TM objects, enhancement approaches, interfaces, background processing, logs and performance analysis.
• Ability to analyse APIs, IDocs, web services and integration failures, working with the appropriate integration specialists where required.
• Understanding of secure development, transport management, technical documentation and controlled production deployment.
• Technical root-cause analyses and production-fix recommendations.
• Technical specifications, effort estimates, dependency assessments and implementation plans.
• Developed and unit-tested enhancements with code documentation.
• Performance-analysis findings and corrective actions.
• L3 knowledge articles and complete closure notes for escalated incidents.
• Deep technical delivery experience in SAP TM/PTM environments.
• Demonstrated ability to debug standard and custom logic and trace failures across application and integration layers.
• Strong collaboration with functional consultants and ability to explain technical findings in business-relevant language.
• Calm, evidence-based working style for critical production support.
• Suggested profile: 8+ years of SAP technical experience, including substantial hands-on SAP TM development and L3 support.
