SAP Techno-Functional Consultant

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the platform team to assess existing SAP ECC systems and understand the business processes currently managed within SAP.
• Analyze business processes, system configurations, workflows, and the current level of automation across SAP modules.
• Identify opportunities to improve business process efficiency through automation, system enhancements, and process optimization.
• Review SAP integrations with third-party systems, particularly those related to Order Management, Materials Management, Inventory Management, Order-to-Cash, and Procurement.
• Assess existing integrations and identify opportunities to improve data flow, system connectivity, and operational efficiency.
• Provide recommendations for optimizing SAP processes and reducing manual intervention.
• Explore opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and intelligent automation within SAP-supported business processes.
• Document current-state processes, identify gaps, and recommend future-state improvements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to evaluate and prioritize improvement opportunities.
• Provide techno-functional guidance to support platform modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of overall professional experience in SAP techno-functional consulting or related SAP roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC.
• Experience integrating SAP with third-party applications and external systems.
• Good understanding of SAP-supported business processes across Order Management, Materials Management, Inventory Management, Order-to-Cash, and Procurement.
• Experience analyzing SAP business processes, system functionality, and existing automation capabilities.
• Knowledge of business process optimization, workflow improvement, and automation opportunities.
• Understanding of SAP integration processes, data flows, and system dependencies.
• Knowledge of AI concepts and their potential applications in enterprise business processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process assessment skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analyze an existing SAP ECC environment to understand business processes, configurations, integrations, and automation levels.
• Identify process inefficiencies, manual activities, and opportunities for automation.
• Assess SAP integrations with third-party systems and recommend practical improvements.
• Translate business requirements into clear techno-functional recommendations.
• Evaluate opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare current-state assessments, gap analyses, and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with platform, business, functional, and technical teams.
• Communicate complex SAP processes and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work independently, prioritize findings, and provide practical solutions aligned with business objectives.
