SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Consultant with around

2 years of hands-on experience in configuration, implementation, enhancement, and production support activities. The candidate should have a good understanding of

Core HR processes and practical experience in configuring Employee Central functionalities. Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central based on business requirements.

• Understand business requirements and perform

fit-gap analysis against standard SF EC functionality.

• Configure

Foundation Objects, MDF Objects, Associations, and Data Models .

• Configure and maintain

Business Rules, Workflows, Event Reasons, and Event Reason Derivations .

• Work on

Role-Based Permissions (RBP), Permission Groups, and Dynamic Groups .

• Support employee lifecycle processes including:
• Hire
• Rehire
• Transfer
• Promotion
• Job/Position changes
• Termination
• Work on

Position Management and organizational structures.

• Perform employee data imports, data validation, and error resolution.
• Support

EC integrations with Payroll, HRIS, and third-party systems .

• Participate in testing activities including

Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testing .

• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test cases, and user documentation.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with business users and other SAP/HR technology teams.
• Support quarterly SuccessFactors releases and assess the impact of new features. Must-Have Skills
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
• Strong understanding of

Core HR / Hire-to-Retire processes .

• Hands-on experience in:
• Employee Central Data Models
• Foundation Objects
• MDF Objects
• Associations
• Business Rules
• Workflows
• Event Reasons
• Role-Based Permissions (RBP)
• Employee Data Imports
• Good understanding of

Position Management .

• Basic understanding of

EC integrations with Payroll/HRIS or third-party systems.

• Good knowledge of

XML and SuccessFactors configuration.

• Experience in incident resolution and application support.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills. Good to Have
• Experience in

Time Off / Time Tracking .

• Exposure to

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding .

• Knowledge of

Integration Center, OData APIs, or SAP Integration Suite .

• Experience in at least

one end-to-end SF EC implementation .

• SAP SuccessFactors

Employee Central certification preferred.

• Exposure to additional SuccessFactors modules such as Recruiting, Performance & Goals, or Compensation. Candidate Profile
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good client-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into SF EC solutions.
• Willingness to learn new SuccessFactors features and functionalities.
