Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Public Cloud Senior Consultant with strong functional expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and proven experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud configuration, Central Business Configuration (CBC), Self-Service Configuration UIs (SSCUI), and SAP Activate methodology.

The role involves delivering SAP SD Public Cloud solutions, conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops, managing business process configurations, supporting integrations, and collaborating with global stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

SAP SD Functional Consulting

• Analyze business requirements across Sales, Distribution, Logistics, and Customer Service processes.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP SD solutions within SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Manage end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, including Sales Order Processing, Pricing, Shipping, Billing, and Invoicing.
• Configure and support Customer and Material Master Data, Sales Document Types, Item Categories, Schedule Line Categories, and Pricing Procedures.
• Support Availability Check (ATP), Credit Management, Output Management, Returns Management, Intercompany Sales, Third-Party Sales, and Stock Transfer processes.
• Identify process improvement opportunities aligned with SAP standard functionality and best practices.

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Implementation:

• Participate in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation projects.
• Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops and perform business process gap assessments.
• Configure business processes using Central Business Configuration (CBC) and SSCUI.
• Support scope item activation, configuration, and business process adoption.
• Apply SAP Activate methodology throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions follow SAP Public Cloud standardization and clean-core principles.
• Support quarterly SAP Public Cloud release impact assessments, regression testing, and continuous improvements.

Integration and Technical Collaboration:

• Collaborate with SAP MM, EWM, PP, FICO, TM, GTS, and IBP teams to ensure seamless cross-functional integration.
• Support integration across Order-to-Cash and related supply chain and financial processes.
• Work with technical teams on functional specifications, API-based integrations, workflows, and approved extensibility requirements.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP Fiori applications, Embedded Analytics, CDS Views, SAP BTP, and S/4HANA Output Management.

Testing, Deployment and Production Support:

• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and test scenarios.
• Perform Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing(UAT), and Regression Testing.
• Support defect resolution, cutover planning, go-live execution, and hypercare.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide solutions in AMS and Production Support environments.
• Ensure timely resolution of business-critical incidents and continuous process improvements.

Stakeholder Management and Delivery:

• Engage with business users and client stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend SAP standard solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, solution demonstrations, knowledge transfer, and user training.
• Collaborate with global project teams across multiple time zones.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to project delivery, quality, and documentation standards.

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

• 6 to 10 years of SAP SD functional consulting experience.
• Minimum 23 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation projects.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Sales processes.
• Practical experience with CBC, SSCUI, Fit-to-Standard workshops, SAP Activate, and Scope Item Activation.
• Strong functional knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C), Pricing, Billing, Shipping, ATP, Credit Management, and Returns Management.
• Experience in Greenfield Implementations, Global Rollouts, or Business Transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP SD integration with MM, FICO, EWM, and other relevant modules.
• Client-facing consulting experience with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in AMS, Hypercare, and Production Support environments.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Certification in Sales.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, Embedded Analytics, CDS Views, and API-based integrations.
• Understanding of SAP BTP and Public Cloud extensibility concepts.
• Exposure to SAP TM, GTS, IBP, and advanced supply chain processes.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Retail, Consumer Products, Life Sciences, Wholesale Distribution, High-Tech, or Professional Services.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Management, or a related discipline.
• SAP S/4HANA Sales / Public Cloud Certification preferred.
• MBA or Supply Chain Management certification would be an added advantage.
