Job Overview

• Role: SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Functional Consultant
• Location: Bengaluru, India (Hybrid / Office-based)
• Department: Enterprise Applications / Global ISDC

Key Responsibilities

• Client Engagement & Design: Actively participate in business process discussions with client teams. Gather and analyze business requirements for the Order-to-Cash (OTC) lifecycle, map pain points, and design effective, scalable solutions in SAP S/4HANA.
• Project Delivery: Lead functional and technical consultants to ensure the successful delivery of SAP deliverables. Ensure the smooth transition and handover of the Sales and Distribution solutions for formal project closure.
• System Configuration: Hands-on configuration of core SAP SD elements, including Sales Order Processing, Basic Functions, Pricing, Taxation, Delivery/Shipping, Billing/Settlement Management, and Credit Management.
• Cross-Module Integration: Manage dependencies and ensure smooth cross-functional integration with modules like SAP MM (Materials Management), FI (Finance), and external third-party systems.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify, log, and escalate project implementation issues and risks transparently as soon as they are discovered.
• Testing & QA: Design test scenarios and test cases. Execute functional unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Training & Hypercare: Prepare comprehensive training artifacts for workshop sessions. Deliver training to Key Users and End Users, and manage post-go-live hypercare support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience:
• A minimum of 6+ years of full-time, hands-on SAP SD consulting experience.
• At least 5 to 6 years of mandatory core domain experience in Sales & Marketing.
• Proven track record with at least 3 full project lifecycles (E2E implementations) and 3 support project experiences.
• Technical Domain Competencies:
• Deep application and configuration experience in SAP S/4HANA SD.
• Strong expertise in advanced S/4HANA features like CVI (Customer Vendor Integration), aATP (Advanced Available-to-Promise), BRF+, Advanced Return Management, and Settlement Management.
• Familiarity with Fiori applications, data migration, and cutover strategies.
• Soft Skills:
• Exceptional client-facing capabilities with an analytical mindset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to bridge requirements between business stakeholders and technical developers.
