SAP S4 HANA Consultant

Employees in this job function are responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. They are involved in the entire software development lifecycle, including designing software architecture, writing code, testing for quality and deploying the software to meet customer requirements. Full-stack software engineering roles, which can develop all components of software including user interface and server-side, also fall within this job function.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to deeply understand their use cases, pain points, and requirements, showcasing empathy and advocating for user-centric software solutions.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (like agile) and technologies.
• Assess the requirements of the software application or service and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration method, deployment strategy, etc.
• Create high-level software architecture designs that outline the overall structure, components, and interfaces of the application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product owners, designers, architects, etc.
• Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, policies and processes in line with the organisation's vision, industry regulations and market best practices.
• Work on continuously improving performance and optimising the application, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.
• Familiar with programming practices, such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Support security practices to safeguard user data, including encryption and anonymisation.
• Create user-friendly and interactive interfaces.
• Develop and maintain back-end applications like APIs and microservices using server-side languages.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities to deliver solutions, and monitor and participate in solutions for new stack layers, often involving industry collaboration.
• Perform requirements gathering, Business Analysis, Fit Gap Analysis, System Testing,
• Documentation (FDD and TDD) and End User Training.
• Review and analyse the client's business processes.
• Collaborate with the client's business, IT and Implementation partners to identify ERP scope.
• Assist with gap analysis of the as-is design and development of the to-be functional design.
• Analyse integration requirements and work with legacy non-SAP systems.
• Create Use cases, user stories and other requirements/specifications artefacts.
• Provide functional specifications and work with Software Engineers (ABAP, GCP/PCF, Fiori).
• Conduct and support testing on the SAP platform - Functional, Security, Integration, User Acceptance.
• Provide SME expertise in the business processes for source-to-pay for global design in the automotive industry and create a roadmap.
• Support NA time zones, cutover, data profiling, extraction, and cleansing activities.

Requirements:

• Highly motivated self-starter and collaborative team player with exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Sourcing and Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC), including seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA and core SAP Materials Management (MM) modules.
• Experience in Automotive / Manufacturing industry; relevant SAP Certification
• Knowledge of Ariba Sourcing and Supply Chain Collaboration and integrations with S/4 integration
• Primary Skills Required: SAP S/4 HANA - MM Functional Consultant.
• 2 to 5 years of IT experience.
• 2 to 3 years of functional experience with the following SAP modules - Material Management covering processes from requisitioning to ordering (with purchase orders or scheduling agreements), Directed Tier 2, Sub-contracting, Intercompany.
• Experienced in at least 1 full life cycle of S4 HANA and Fiori implementation.

Experience Required:

• Experienced in at least 1 full life cycle of S4 HANA and Fiori implementation.
• Ability to lead collaborative global teams during steady state, post go-live, and developing strategic solutions.
• Highly motivated team member with good interpersonal and strong communication skills.
• Experience in hands-on and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience in Automotive / Manufacturing industry.
• Skills Required: SAP HANA.
• Skills Preferred: SAP HANA, BigQuery, SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD, SAP Fiori, SAP Solman.

Experience Required:

• Engineer III Exp: Proficient in 2 coding languages. or adv. Prac. in 1 lang.
• 6+ years in IT; 4+ years in development.
