SAP S/4HANA FICO Functional Consultant

Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Functional Consultant to lead the design, implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), with proven experience delivering end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations in manufacturing environments.

The role requires strong business process knowledge, solution architecture capabilities, cross-functional integration expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead finance transformation initiatives from requirement gathering through post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Finance Solution Design

• Design and implement SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Lead finance process workshops and translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Configure and optimize SAP FI and CO modules based on industry best practices.
• Recommend standard SAP functionality while minimizing custom developments.

SAP S/4HANA Implementation

• Lead Greenfield projects.
• Prepare Functional Specifications for RICEFW developments.
• Support fit-gap analysis and solution blueprinting.
• Coordinate configuration, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Drive Hypercare and production stabilization.

Month-End & Year-End Closing

• Lead month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Configure and support depreciation, accruals, allocations, settlements, GR/IR clearing, and foreign currency valuation.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.

Data Migration

• Lead finance master and transactional data migration.
• Support SAP Migration Cockpit activities.
• Perform reconciliation between legacy systems and SAP S/4HANA.
• Validate migration quality before production cutover.

Reporting & Analytics

• Support Embedded Analytics and Fiori-based reporting.
• Collaborate with BI teams on CDS Views and SAP Analytics Cloud reporting.
• Define financial KPIs and reporting requirements.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Prepare functional test scenarios and scripts.
• Execute Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing.
• Coordinate defect management and resolution.

Production Support

• Resolve complex functional issues.
• Perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure SLA compliance.
• Support audits and compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
