SAP S/4HANA BASIS Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, administer, and support SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, and SAP NetWeaver systems.
• Perform SAP system upgrades, migrations, refreshes, and patching activities.
• Manage SAP HANA Database administration, monitoring, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Execute S/4HANA conversion and migration projects.
• Administer SAP Landscape Management, Transport Management System (TMS), and client management activities.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure high system availability.
• Support SAP security, user administration, and audit compliance activities.
• Work closely with functional and technical teams during implementations, upgrades, and production support.
• Handle kernel upgrades, SPS updates, system copies, and disaster recovery activities.
• Create technical documentation and adhere to SAP best practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in SAP BASIS Administration.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA Database.
• Experience in SAP system installation, upgrades, migrations, and refresh activities.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Experience in performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, and Transport Management.
• Understanding of high availability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP S/4HANA Migration/Conversion project experience.
• SAP Certifications in BASIS or S/4HANA.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
