Sap Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with 8+ years of expertise in managing end-to-end SAP implementations, upgrades, and support projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex SAP projects on time, within scope, and budget, while leading cross-functional teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Delivery
• Lead SAP implementation, migration, and upgrade projects across modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, etc.).
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and methodologies (e.g., ASAP, Activate).
• Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Conduct regular status meetings, provide updates, and manage expectations at all organizational levels.
• Team Management
• Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams including consultants, developers, and business analysts.
• Allocate resources effectively and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum.
• Risk & Quality Management
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure quality assurance through testing, validation, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Budget & Resource Control
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost efficiency.
• Optimize resource utilization across multiple SAP projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP project management with at least 3 full-cycle implementations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules and integration points.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP / PRINCE2 / SAP Activate certification preferred.

Desired Skills

• Experience in S/4HANA migration projects.
• Familiarity with cloud-based SAP solutions (SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in multicultural and global environments.
