About the Role

We are seeking an SAP PP/QM Functional Consultant with deep pharmaceutical industry experience to bridge the gap between our IT department and plant operations. In this role, you will not write code. Instead, you will design, configure, and optimize the SAP system logic that keeps our drug manufacturing lines running smoothly while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Business Workshops: Partner with plant managers and QA/QC leads to map complex pharma workflows into SAP.
• System Configuration & Testing: Set up master data (recipes, formulas, inspection plans) and troubleshoot system issues.
• Functional Specifications: Author detailed blueprints for our ABAP development team whenever custom validation protocols or reports are required.

Must-Have Pharma Qualifications

• GxP & GMP Compliance: Hands-on experience configuring SAP within strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory environments.
• Batch Management & Traceability: Expert-level knowledge of active ingredient tracking, batch determination, shelf-life planning (SLED), and full electronic batch records (EBR).
• Computer System Validation (CSV): Direct experience participating in system validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ) and 21 CFR Part 11 electronic signature compliance.
