Job Summary

We are looking for an SAP PP Support Consultant with 35 years of experience in SAP Production Planning support. The candidate should have hands-on experience working in a support environment, preferably with an SAP implementation/support partner, and possess a good understanding of SAP PP processes and integration with other modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for SAP PP business processes.
• Analyze and resolve production planning-related incidents and service requests.
• Understand and support processes such as:
  
• Production Orders
• BOM and Routing
• Work Centers
• MRP basics
• Material Master and Production Versions
• Confirmation and Goods Movements
• Coordinate with business users to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting in SAP PP.
• Understand integration points between PP, MM, SD and FI/CO.
• Coordinate with technical teams for issues involving interfaces, enhancements, reports and integrations.
• Prepare functional specifications where required.
• Support testing, UAT and production deployments.
• Maintain proper documentation of incidents, solutions and processes.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of relevant SAP PP experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP PP functional processes.
• Experience in SAP support projects, preferably with an SAP partner/implementation partner.
• Basic knowledge of SAP PP configuration.
• Good understanding of PP integration with MM, SD and FI/CO.
• Basic understanding of SAP Basis concepts, such as transports, jobs, users/roles and system landscape.
• Basic understanding of interfaces/integration concepts.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred

• Experience in manufacturing/production environments.
• Experience handling SAP support tickets and SLA-based support.
• Exposure to S/4HANA is an advantage.
• Knowledge of incident/change/problem management processes.

Important

This role is primarily for SAP PP support experience. Candidates with experience working for SAP implementation/support partners are preferred; core SAP product-team experience is not a requirement.
