Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant to support SAP implementation, enhancement, rollout, and production support initiatives. The consultant will be responsible for analysing business requirements, designing and configuring SAP Production Planning solutions, supporting manufacturing operations, and driving process improvements across production and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in SAP implementation, enhancement, rollout, and support projects.
• Gather and analyse business requirements related to manufacturing and production planning.
• Configure and support SAP PP functionalities, including:
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Demand Management
• Production Orders and Planned Orders
• Capacity Planning
• Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
• Production Versions
• Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Work Centres and Routings
• Shop Floor Control
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP best-practice solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimise production planning and manufacturing processes.
• Prepare functional specifications for reports, enhancements, interfaces, conversions, and forms.
• Support integration with SAP MM, SD, QM, EWM/WM, PM, and FI/CO modules.
• Perform Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Support data migration, cutover, deployment, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Provide production support and resolve business-critical issues within agreed SLAs.
• Prepare functional documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
• Conduct workshops and facilitate discussions with business and technical stakeholders throughout project phases.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration and support.
• Thorough understanding of end-to-end manufacturing and production planning processes.
• Strong expertise in MRP, production orders, BOMs, routings, work centres, and capacity planning.
• Hands-on experience with production execution and shop floor processes.
• Strong integration knowledge across SAP MM, QM, SD, PM, EWM/WM, and FI/CO.
• Experience preparing functional specifications and working with technical development teams.
• Good understanding of production planning master data and its maintenance.
• Experience in testing, defect management, cutover, and go-live support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and transformation projects.
• Exposure to Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) concepts.
• Experience in manufacturing, chemical, consumer goods, or industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and embedded analytics.
• SAP PP certification is preferred.

Educational Qualification

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
