Job description:

• Analyzed and ensured Master Data objects such as MM, BOMs, Resources, and Master Recipe to meet the desired standards of functionality before data migration.
• Configured discrete manufacturing with make-to-stock and make-to-order strategies.
• Defined MRP settings for Single item/ multi-level MRP runs and defined MRP types.
• Configured MRP plant parameters, MRP controllers, Planning Strategies, lot sizing procedures.
• Assisted in defining project scope for the company and implementation of SAP PP with Full life-cycle implementation using ASAP methodology.
• Actively involved in designing AS-IS and TO-BE study and documentation.
• Defined Inspection Checkpoints, Inspection Lots and maintained Inspection results (QM).
• Maintained Control Cycle Record with respect to material, plant and supply area Configured Material Master to maintain Quality Management View, Inspection Types as per business Inspection Requirements Assisted in shop floor activities like Capacity Planning and availability check.
• Worked on Periodic Data Transfer from Legacy System into SAP R/3 using LSMW Tool.
• Data transferred included mapping fields, reading the spreadsheet files and converting into the target format.
• Modified the variant files according to global Auto and Japan specific requirements.
• Downloaded and uploaded technical objects from the reference system if not present in current system.
• Solved issues arising during installation and checking and scenarios.
• Shared responsibilities for production planning, new projects implementation and 24/7 support as well.
• Prepared as-is business execution flow charts and discussing with other consultants to identify gaps from integration point of view.

• Defined PP/WM interface; storage type search for pick list, automatic GR for finished parts into predefined storage type.
• Designed Vendor Forecast Program where Planned orders are sent to Vendor Designed Vendor Lead time Process, where vendor Lead time captured Working on EDI interfaces with SAP IDOCS Designed Enterprise View report where aggregate Demand , Supply, QAS and QOH values across plants.
• Designed Cockpits as per business requirements considering details from planning, sales and purchasing and Material requirement planning.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP PP developments and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in the development of custom reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate with external vendors and consultants as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage change requests and system upgrades.
• Provide technical support during system go-lives.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop and implement data migration strategies.
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
• Prepare and present project status reports.

Years of Experience:

Minimum 3+ years of experience with good communication skills

Qualifications and other certifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
