Sap Mm Functional Consultant

We are looking for a skilled SAP Functional Consultant with primary expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management) and a good understanding of SAP FI (Financial Accounting).

The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP functional support, business process analysis, requirement gathering, and coordination with technical and business teams.

The role involves supporting SAP business processes, troubleshooting production issues, preparing functional documentation, and assisting with SAP integrations, enhancements, testing, and implementation activities. The candidate should be comfortable working with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for SAP MM processes and assist in resolving production issues.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Analyze existing SAP business processes and recommend improvements aligned with business needs.
• Apply an understanding of SAP FI to support relevant business processes and cross-functional requirements.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, test scenarios, and user guides.
• Coordinate with technical, integration, and business teams to deliver solutions and resolve issues.
• Support SAP integrations with external applications using APIs, IDocs, web services, and related integration technologies.
• Participate in solution design, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
• Perform root cause analysis and support timely resolution of functional issues.
• Assist with SAP enhancements, implementations, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with business users to understand operational requirements and recommend effective SAP solutions.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management).
• Good understanding of SAP FI (Financial Accounting).
• Familiarity with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Understanding of SAP business processes, functional configurations, and process flows.
• Exposure to SAP integrations using APIs, IDocs, or web services.
• Knowledge of production support, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Experience participating in SIT, UAT, and deployment activities.
• Ability to prepare functional specifications and technical-functional documentation.

• Primary expertise in SAP MM with supporting knowledge of SAP FI.
• Exposure to SAP support, implementation, enhancements, or integration projects.
• Familiarity with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP functional solutions.
