Role & responsibilities

SAP MDG Functional Consultant

Preferred candidate profile

Must-Have**

(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

1. Strong hands-on experience in SAP MDG design, configuration, and implementation across Business Partner (Customer/Vendor) and Material domains. Expertise in:

• Data Modelling
• UI Customization
• Change Request Configuration
• Workflow & Process Modelling
• BRF+ Configuration
• Validation & Derivation Rules
• Data Quality Management
• Data Replication Framework (DRF)
• IDoc and SOA Replication
• Key Mapping and Value Mapping

2. Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, including at least one S/4HANA Bluefield transformation engagement.

3. Proven experience supporting data migration, harmonization, and governance activities in SAP S/4HANA conversion programs.

4. Experience with SAP MDG Hub and Co-deployment architectures.

5. Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA master data structures, Business Partner approach, and migration considerations.

6. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

7. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional project teams.

Good-to-Have

1. Experience with SAP MDG-RFM and strong Retail domain knowledge.

2. Hands-on experience with SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, and other data migration tools.

3. Experience with SAP MDG Fiori Apps and user experience enhancements.

4. Knowledge of Master Data Consolidation (MDC), Mass Processing, and Master Data Quality (MDQ) capabilities.

5. Experience supporting large-scale ECC-to-S/4HANA Bluefield transformation programs.

6. Experience working in global, multi-vendor delivery environments.

7. SAP MDG and/or SAP S/4HANA certification preferred.
