Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in SAP MDG and API/integration technologies

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG & API Integration Specialist with strong experience in SAP Master Data Governance, API-based integrations, and enterprise application ecosystems. The candidate will work closely with procurement and supply chain stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support integrations involving SAP MDG, ORO Labs, and downstream/upstream enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and API-based integrations.
• Work on integration of procurement and supplier/master data between ORO and SAP platforms.
• Support material, vendor/supplier, organizational, and other master data integration and governance processes.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, data inconsistencies, API errors, and synchronization issues across systems.
• Participate in data mapping, transformation, validation, error handling, monitoring, and reconciliation activities.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand procurement, sourcing, supplier management, purchasing, and supply chain processes.
• Support testing across development, SIT, UAT, and production environments.
• Analyze existing integration flows and recommend improvements for reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Maintain technical documentation including interface specifications, mappings, and integration flows.

Required Skills:

• 6-8 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in SAP MDG.
• Strong experience with APIs and system integrations.
• Good understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, HTTP methods, authentication, and API error handling.
• Experience with SAP master data objects and governance processes.
• Experience in enterprise application integration and data transformation.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience working with integration/middleware platforms is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Procurement business processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating SAP MDG with ORO Labs or similar procurement platforms.
• Functional understanding of Procurement operations
• Experience with vendor/supplier master data synchronization.
• Functional knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Source-to-Pay (S2P), Supplier Management, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, etc.
• Experience working in enterprise procurement transformation programs.
