Job Description: Senior Specialist - SAP BTP Integration Suite & Cloud Platform

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead to drive SAP BTP Integration Suite implementations, focusing on API Management, Event Mesh, and Employee Information Center (EIC). In this role, you'll lead end-to-end integration projects, mentor teams, and ensure seamless connectivity across cloud and on-premise landscapes for enterprise clients in automotive, manufacturing, and IT sectors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions using SAP's latest cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite, including API Management for REST/OData APIs, Event Mesh for real-time event-driven architectures, and EIC for identity and access management.
• Architect and implement cloud-native integration patterns, pre-packaged integrations, and custom iFlows for SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and third-party systems.
• Manage API lifecycle (design, exposure, monetization) via API Management, including security policies, throttling, and analytics.
• Configure Event Mesh for asynchronous messaging with AMQP, JMS, and Kafka protocols; integrate with SAP Event Portal for event cataloging.
• Conduct proof-of-concepts (PoCs), performance tuning, monitoring via Application Logging Service, and troubleshooting using SAP Cloud ALM.
• Mentor junior developers, perform code reviews, and drive agile delivery using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., SAP Continuous Integration & Delivery).
• Ensure compliance with security standards (OAuth, certificates, encryption) and scalability for high-volume automotive/ERP workloads.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for requirement gathering, solution blueprints, and post-go-live support.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-8 years in SAP integration, with 4+ years hands-on in BTP Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, and EIC.
• Expertise in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), iFlows, WSDL/SOAP, REST, JSON/XML processing, and Groovy/JavaScript scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Event Mesh setup, topics/subscriptions, and integration with external brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency in EIC for provisioning workflows, custom connectors, and integration with IAS/IAS.
• Experience with SAP BTP services: Destination Service, Connectivity (On-Premise Agent), Persistence Service.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git), Terraform/Bicep for IaC, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
